Nashville, TN \u2013 August 24, 2024 \u2013 Nashville-based indie band “The Jetglows” vibe with a new take from an old piece of vintage, guitar-gear goodness – and a new song is born!

“SHE” is the latest power-pop masterpiece from Nashville indie band, The Jetglows – Timothy Ferguson, Travis McNabb, Todd Underwood and Gina Partin.

” SHE happened pretty quick. It fell into place right from the start. Love it when that happens!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travis, Todd and Gina added parts that went right along with the song and helped contribute to the mood and vibe. I feel like this song hits on all cylinders!. I ran the guitar and bass into the Ibanez, then into a UA preamp – directly into the DAW. I didn’t use an amp” – says singer\/songwriter\/bass-player Timothy Ferguson.

“The beginnings of this song happened when Tim managed to get an old delay unit of his working (1980 Ibanez UE405 multi-effects unit). It had a great mood to it right away. As we produced and mixed it, I kept leaning into the early Cars kind of feeling. A bit of a new wave approach while still capturing the energy of a rock ‘n’ roll band” – added drummer\/producer\/mixer Travis McNabb.

“Yeah, the sound of Tim’s vintage delay unit, to me, is the heart of the song. It’s an old school analog sound. Such a smooth sounding delay. I love it! Todd’s (lead guitarist Todd Underwood) guitar parts really filled out the song. Everything has a place in the arrangement. The song sounds like summer to me.” says guitarist\/singer Gina Partin.
